| Carrot wedged in man's bum after sex game A Croatian man has been told he can't claim hospital costs after he turned up at an emergency ward with a carrot stuck up his bum. The 30-year-old man admitted he had been playing a sex game with his girlfriend when the 20 centimetre vegetable snapped, leaving most of it wedged up his bottom. Doctors in Dubrovnik confirmed they removed the carrot but said the man had to pay for the treatment in cash as they were unable to claim through his health insurance plan. A hospital spokesman told the Slobabna Dalmacija newspaper: "We are not prepared to comment on the case. The man was from Cavtat and he has been treated and has left, and that is the end of the matter." 10th January 2002 |
