| Naked strippers in bubble bath stop Cape Town traffic A pair of naked strippers brought central Cape Town to a standstill as they frolicked in a bath next to a main road. A local strip club employed 'Baby' and 'Val' - both in their mid-20s - to make a scene in the bubble bath. Five police cars arrived as soon as it was reported to them. The bath was on a pick-up truck. Officers told the women to stay in the bath and organised a tow-truck to move the vehicle which wouldn't start. Police spokesman Jacques Wiese told the Cape Argus: "No-one was charged, but the two girls had to pay an admission of guilt fine of 150 rand (about £9) each for public indecency." 24th January 2002 |
