| Survey says Liverpudlians are ugliest A new poll claims Liverpudlians are the ugliest people in the country while Londoners are the most attractive. The internet survey found Newcastle is considered the sexiest city. A third of respondents rated the Scottish accent the nicest and Midlands accent the worst. The poll by website TheSite.org involved 1,000 16-35 year olds from across the country. Liverpool won title of ugliest city with 14% of votes. Louise Ellman, MP for Liverpool Riverside, says she's astounded by the results. She said: "Liverpudlians are extremely attractive and full of life and character. "Whoever conducted this survey has clearly asked the wrong people," reports The Mirror. Comic Stan Boardman added: "Liverpudlians are really beautiful people.
