| Third of people think ignorance is bliss over infidelities More than a third of people say they'd prefer not to know if their partner is being unfaithful. A survey for Marie Claire in Germany showed 34% of men and 37% of women would prefer to be kept in the dark. A similar number say they'd finish the relationship if they found out. The survey conducted by polling firm Forsa showed 87% of men and 88% of women say fidelity is an important part of their relationships. The survey shows that 33% of men and 39% of women would finish a relationship if their partner had been unfaithful. 20th August 2001 |
