| Adults think trick-or-treating is 'bad for kids' A new survey shows the majority of British adults think trick-or-treating is bad for children. The online survey by My Voice shows only one-third of people continue to celebrate Halloween. Eight out of 10 say the general celebrations are harmless fun, but 54% think trick-or-treating is a bad influence. The My Voice internet survey involved 1,105 British adults. Other results showed 43% never stock up on sweets and goodies for trick-or-treaters and only 16% expect someone to knock on their door on October 31. 30th October 2001 |
