| Billionaire breaks his neck for third time in six months A billionaire has broken his neck for the third time in six months and for the fourth time in his life. John Caudwell, who owns Phones 4U, fell off an Olympic-sized trampoline while exercising at his £5m mansion. The 49-year-old broke his neck twice while racing motorbikes last year and in a karting accident in 1995. Mr Caudwell, of Stoke-on-Trent, told The Sun: "I landed badly and felt a crack. The hospital found two fractures. Doctors say I'll make a complete recovery." 30th January 2002 |
