| TV company plans documentary about 'ugly people' A TV production company is looking for 'ugly people' to star in a new documentary for ITV1. Producer Jeremy Williams says the show will not be insensitive. He aims to show how many people have prospered despite not fitting into society's norms. Williams told Teletext: "We want to find out what life is like for people in a world that is obsessed with appearances. "It will be an intimate portrait of a small number of people who may be troubled or entirely unworried by the way they look." People who fit the bill are being encouraged to write to Landmark Films at 235 Cowley Road, Oxford, OX4 1XG. Or by phoning Nick on (01865) 427301. 30th January 2002 |
