| Survey reveals women's pet hates about male drivers Using mobile phones behind the wheel is the thing which annoys women most about male drivers, according to a new survey. Other pet hates include playing loud music in their cars, not letting women into traffic queues and not using proper signals before turning. Women's biggest safety fears about male motorists are drink driving, speeding and people who don't use seatbelts. The survey of 228 women was carried out by breakdown service Autonational Rescue, reports the Daily Express. A spokesman said: "It is comforting to see how many safety aspects are highlighted, especially mobile phones. But it's not just a male problem, female drivers do it too." It wasn't all bad news with 12% of women failing to nominate anything they hated about men's driving. 3rd February 2002 |
